Hi! Thanks for reading! We’re looking for the perfect venue to host a very special launch night, and thought it might be helpful to put the info down on a private web page.

Overview:

In March, we’re launching a new indie label called Galaxy Music. We’re working with a handful of acts who are releasing debut singles across a few weeks in March & April, and we’re looking to book in a showcase gig that will act as their launch show.

The gig will also be the official launch party of Galaxy Music as a label. To commemorate the launch, the label is releasing a vinyl compilation featuring all acts singles for promotion purposes, which will be given to attendees.

Attendance:

100 (conservative estimate). As label owner and promoter, I can guarantee attendance of 30+, and with 5 artists with large networks of friends and family, I expect each act brings 10+ people minimum. And that’s without any marketing (which we will be doing a lot of during the lead up, with the CTA being tickets to the show). I expect 150, Minimum 100, and maximum capacity 200.

Dates:

I would love to do this on a Thursday night, but also would be happy with a Friday or Saturday, pending all artists availability.

Please can you let me know which dates could potentially be workable among these:

Thu 3rd April / Fri 4th April / Sat 5th April

Thu 10th April / Fri 11th April / Sat 12th April

Thu 17th / Fri 18th / Sat 19th April

Thu 24 / Fri 25 / 26 April

Set-up:

The acts will perform ~20-minute each. With a short group set at the end of the night. Their setups will relatively similar and quite simple, and most will be supported by the same professional backing band. So very little changeover. The backing band will be made up of drums, bass, guitar, keys and some backing tracks.

Though this will be the debut live show for some of these acts under their new artist moniker, none are strangers to the stage or performing in front of thousands.
